As you may or may not have noticed, in the last few weeks, under the advice of the talented ¢mindfuckx, I have modified Favebox v1.5 enough so you can now create your own custom counters and buttons. Using CSS and a blank GIF file, almost anything is now possible. See the four images under the heading? Pure CSS / GIF! See the really cool pink / green box that glows when you hover over it? (Firefox only, sorry :()? Pure CSS and an animated GIF!

This tutorial shows you how to make your own and includes a link to two templates that you can use to make your own custom Faveboxes!

Go nuts, and please let me see what you come up with. I'd love to know!

Yep, it's for subscribed members only. Favebox also offers a 'text-only' version that simply has two text links. One faves the journal, the other lets you see how many faves your journal has. Just create a new favebox and copy down the code for the text links.
