Dream room - WIP

A few weeks back I picked up Maya for another go. This time it was rendering something straight from my imagination.

This is a dream room for me. It's both a working environment plus a photography studio. There's a strip of lights across the roof, a metal bar for hanging props or backdrops plus some of my own artwork hanging on the walls with enough storage around the place to keep all my crap. Also, the colour scheme are my corporate colours. Green, white and grey. Snazzeh!

This isn't quite finished (I may add more later, or just redesign the room from scratch for fun) but it taught me a few things about creating interiors. First, elbow bends are a total bitch to make. Snapping to the grid really helps. Second, there are some awesome ready-made objects out there, just waiting to be dropped into your scene and thirdly, those objects are HUGE and will take you forever to re-select if you accidentally unselect it.

Eventually, I may realise my dream of having this room. Just not now
