Description
This monstrosity used to collect coal in the "open cut", a surface mining "pit" located a few towns over. It was retired about a decade or two ago and put on display near the Powerworks museum.
There used to be a town atop the open cut, but in the late 1960s, the town was demolished to make way for more coal mining. It's a shame, as the town of Yallourn used to be a beautiful place, remembered fondly by all.
