Pondage

I'm not sure why I didn't submit this before. I really like it!

One night after work I had a bit of a drive around the area to shoot some of the scenery. I took this photo while parked on the side of the road near a pond. I did originally do a HDR shot with a few photos, but it didn't come out as expected.

Then while talking to my sweetie, she suggested I manually create the 3 images by tweaking the brightness of one picture. So I did. And this is the result. And why is this the result? Because my girlfriend is incredibly smart and gorgeous, and knows her stuff

So yes, this is actually ONE image, converted into a 3-image HDR, using nothing more than Photomatix and The GIMP. Enjoy!
